FRIA fellowhsip to work on diversity of microorganisms on leaves
##Elise Lebreton got a FRIA PhD fellowship!
Elise obtained a FRIA fellowship from the FNRS to pursue 4 years of doctoral research in our lab.
She will be working on the diversity, evolution and ecology of lichens, fungi and bacteria living on the surface of leaves in tropical mountain forests.
Prior to joining our team, Elise obtained a Master from Université des Antilles et de la Guyane as well as a Master from Université de Montpellier.
She has also worked at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN, Paris) on digitalizing herbarium collections and on lichens from Guadeloupe.
